  • The Song, Highland Cathedral, written in 1982 by Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb, has become an iconic pipe tune for Scots around the world.

It is played before Murrayfield rugby matches, and was selected by Hong Kong Governor, Chris Patten, to be played at the ceremonial final lowering of the Governor's flag at Government House, on the last day of British rule in 1997.

To honour this popular tune, Tartankilts.com is pleased to introduce Highland Cathedral tartan; proudly woven in Scotland.
